Career Fairs at Eastern Kentucky University

Written by Pauline Lively

At the Eastern Kentucky University College of Justice & Safety we are committed to helping our students find success in their chosen career fields. In addition to preparing students academically, we provide opportunities to assist them in cultivating a professional image by offering career development workshops and hosting biannual career fairs.

Many of the recruiters who attend the College’s career fairs return to campus year after year. Our students are able to give a face to their résumés because of the relationships they have developed with these recruiters. We try to stress that building a successful career is not just about what you know and the College experience, but it is also about who you know. Career fairs are an excellent way to expand your professional network and bring you one step closer to accomplishing your goals.
