School of Justice Studies Produces Major New Journal Issue on Youth, Criminalization and Punishment

Judah Schept, an associate professor in Eastern Kentucky University’s School of Justice Studies, has co-edited a special issue of the journal Social Justice: A Journal of Crime, Conflict and World Order entitled “Youth under Control: Punishment and Reform in the Neoliberal State.”

With his co-editor and colleague from Old Dominion University, Randy Myers, Schept assembled an issue concerning the criminalization and confinement of youth, with an emphasis on the structural context and everyday operations of neoliberalism.
